Point at the word.
The meaning is there.

No cloud. No alt-tab. About a fifth of a second.
Your dictionary is one alt-tab and one broken scene away.
You are mid-scene. One word you do not know. The old move: alt-tab to a browser dictionary, retype or hand-draw a kanji you cannot read, lose the line, lose the moment, come back cold.
And native games and visual novels are not web pages: the point-and-define dictionary that lives in your browser simply cannot reach them. The text stays locked behind the glass.

Win32 layered overlay
GPU-accelerated: TensorRT -> CUDA -> CPU, with graceful fallback.
Built to be trusted in the half-second you give it.
A reading tool earns its place on latency and accuracy. A slow or wrong pop-up is worse than none, so these are the numbers that matter.
A fresh, full-screen read of a 4K frame on the reference NVIDIA setup (the native TensorRT path). Fast enough to feel instant.
Measured against several hundred hand-checked 4K screenshots, about 94 of every 100 text lines are read with zero errors.
Roughly one character in eighty is wrong or missing. Errors cluster in tiny, faint, or heavily stylized text. Ordinary dialogue and menus read reliably.
All OCR and dictionary lookup run locally. No cloud OCR, no network round-trip, nothing sent off your machine.
Non-intrusive by design
The overlay is layered and click-through. It never steals focus or interrupts game input. It sits unnoticed until you want a reading.
